El Camino entered the Student Congress State Qualifier with ten of the 81 debaters in the competition. Five from our team, Marlon Poroj; Shawn Haq; Teddy Yerxa; Gabriel Salazar; and Madinah Majib made it to the Semi-Finals Round. The mix of Elco veterans and first-year competitors in this round reflected the powerful presence the team has had in the Southland all year long.
