Emily and Teddy
In the first tournament of the year, Teddy Yerxa and Emily Mercer led the El Camino team with a 2nd Place finish (out of 14 teams) in Parliamentary Debate. They were undefeated for the day and missed a first-place finish by just a couple of Speaker Points. Marlon and Shawn also competed in Parli at the tournament. Although their record did not reflect it, they did well against some very tough competition.
